On December 8 the PowerShare team attended the Leamington Chamber of Commerce Jingle & Mingle Business Expo. There, they had the opportunity to chat with local business owners looking to fully utilize their energy assets.
PowerShare will allow DER owners in Leamington to supply electricity or reduce electricity use on demand to support system reliability. The IESO’s Kingsville/Leamington Planning Forecast estimates a doubling of demand in the area by 2035, largely driven by greenhouse growth. PowerShare is on a mission to help meet this heightened demand.
