Market participants who trade energy flexibility via the NODESmarket platform can earn revenue by offering ShortFlex and/or LongFlex products.
ShortFlex
Get paid for delivering energy or reducing your energy usage.
ShortFlex is a daily market where participants can trade flexibility in half-hour intervals. The ShortFlex market opens 7 days in advance of the trading day and closes a number of hours before activation or product delivery.
LongFlex
Get paid to guarantee you will be available at specified time periods to offer ShortFlex.
LongFlex contracts are converted into ShortFlex offers on the trading day. LongFlex is a way of guaranteeing availability of offers at prescribed times.
*Total amount is assumed with a 1 MW asset offering both ShortFlex and LongFlex products, equal activations of all assets in market, and 5 MW of total capacity participating in market in 2023 and 10 MW in 2024. Actual amounts will vary based on offer prices and other market forces.
