Essex Power CEO & President John Avdoulos shared the stage with other energy leaders in a panel at this year’s Energy Roundtable conference. The Canada’s Energy Transition panel led to discussions on energy trends, challenges and opportunities for the industry.
PowerShare was a big topic of discussion. This industry-transforming project will support system reliability, address local constraints, and contribute to electrification.
“This project represents the transition from a poles-and-wires model to an energy management services model, and I could not be more excited for how this will enable customer choice, address supply issues in the province of Ontario and decarbonize the grid,” said John Avdoulos. The Energy Roundtable is a private sector forum that was launched in 2004 to help define the Canadian energy sector’s role in domestic affairs and international energy markets.
