Essex Power President & CEO John Avdoulos participated in the Strengthening Ontario’s Clean Energy Advantage Education Session at Electricity Transformation Canada.
He sat alongside Brandy Giannetta (Canadian Renewable Energy Association), Katherine Sparkes (IESO) and Allison Miller (Enel North America).
With rapidly growing demand and diminishing supply in the province of Ontario, these leaders discussed solutions to create new capacity and maintain a safe and reliable electricity system.
After more than a decade of stable demand and surplus generation, this challenge is an opportunity for Ontario to leverage new technologies and innovative approaches to keep the grid clean and reliable for decades to come.
PowerShare will contribute to this goal by utilizing clean energy sources to their full potential
Electricity Transformation Canada annually brings together energy professionals from converging sectors — wind energy, solar energy and energy storage — to network, collaborate and grow their businesses. It is hosted by the Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA).
